We know you’re eager to get your new items, and we work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Please review the following information about our shipping processes, delivery times, and policies.

Processing Your Order

Most orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1 to 2 business days after the order is placed. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

Please note that the total delivery time is calculated from the date your order is shipped, not from the date the order is placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has left our fulfillment center.

Shipping Methods & Timeframes

We offer several shipping options to meet your needs. The following timeframes are estimates and refer to business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) after your order has been shipped.

  • Standard Ground Shipping: 3-7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1-2 business days

Please note that expedited and express services refer to transit times after the order has shipped; orders must still be processed within our standard 1-2 business day timeframe. Delivery to remote areas or P.O. boxes may take longer.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the selected shipping method, the destination of your package, and the size and weight of your order. Your total shipping cost will be displayed and confirmed before you complete your purchase.

International Shipping

Please be aware that international customers are responsible for any and all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery.

Holiday Shipping & Delays

During peak seasons and major holidays, please allow additional time for order processing and delivery. High order volume and carrier capacity constraints can lead to delays beyond our standard estimates. We will post announcements on our website regarding any specific holiday shipping deadlines.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number and a link to monitor your package’s progress. You can also track your order by logging into your account on journalsandgear.com.

Delivery Issues

If you experience any issues with your delivery, we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Check the Tracking: Use the provided tracking number to see the most current status from the carrier. Sometimes deliveries are attempted but not completed, or a package may be left in an unexpected location.
  2. Check with Your Household: Ensure another member of your household or your building’s front desk/management office did not accept the delivery.
  3. Contact the Carrier: The shipping carrier has the most precise, up-to-date information about your package’s location and can often help resolve delivery questions directly.

Shipping to Multiple Addresses

Currently, our system is designed to ship an entire order to a single address. If you wish to send items to multiple locations, please place a separate order for each shipping address.
